The witty and sometimes controversial Andy Rooney was well known for his 33 year long CBS News segment on 60 minutes called “A Few Minutes with Andy Rooney.” In 1949, he joined the CBS team as a radio and television writer and spent his entire life writing and hosting shows for the American public.
